AI Drafted

PROJECT SUMMARY

CHALLENGE
Drafting standard contracts with unique end-client requirements manually was time-consuming and repetitive
PRODUCT
A fine-tuned, on-premise AI model that drafts contracts based on the client's existing contract style and legal language
DELIVERABLES
Dataset preparation from historical legal docs; Fine-tuned contract generation model; On-premise deployment (no external APIs); QA testing and workflow integrationCLIENT REVIEW
We didn’t need help writing contracts from scratch. We already had solid templates as our contracts aren’t wildly different from one another. Basically, each agreement is 90% standard, and 10% are those small edits for each client. And these 10% took up most of our legal team’s time. So we decided to apply AI here. It gives us a first draft that’s already client-specific. We still review it, of course, but it saves us a huge chunk of time and mental effort.
OVERVIEW
For businesses that work with recurring contract types, the challenge isn’t building a new agreement every time — it’s adjusting a standard one to suit slightly different client expectations.
Our client faced this exact issue. Their contracts followed a common structure, but every client wanted something specific: a change in payment terms, a tweak to liability clauses, or additional service details. This meant legal teams had to manually revise documents repeatedly, which slowed everything down.
We built an AI-based solution that learns from their existing agreements and generates tailored contract drafts automatically — following the company’s language, structure, and best practices.
CHALLENGE

The main obstacle was scaling contract drafting without sacrificing quality, personalization, or adding new staff. Every client had different needs, but the base contract was largely the same.
Without automation, legal teams were spending time copy-pasting from old templates, adjusting wording manually, and trying to ensure consistency with how the company usually writes certain clauses.
This proces created delays, introduced inconsistencies, and took up valuable hours that could have been better spent reviewing rather than writing.
SOLUTION
We fine-tuned a small AI model on the client’s own library of contracts. The model was trained to recognize how the client typically phrases terms, clauses, and conditions — giving it the ability to generate legally sound drafts that match company standards.
Here’s how it works
- The user provides a prompt or a set of instructions and sends them over email or over a corporate chat to the internal AI bot
- The AI uses its trained knowledge to draft a complete contract, adjusting standard sections based on the provided input
- It runs entirely on-premise to ensure complete control over sensitive legal data
- It integrates with the client’s internal tools for editing, feedback, and sharing
Timeline
- 1 week for fine-tuning
- 1 week for testing and QA
- 1 week for implementation and n8n integration
End Result
Contract drafting that is 86% faster than the previous manual process — with established structure, language consistency, and fewer post-edit revisions.
